March 10th is Abortion Provider Appreciation Day (APAD) and we need your help showing WWH and WWHA clinic staff just how important they are! Here’s why APAD exists.
Access to abortion changes peoples’ lives and allows all people to determine their futures on their own terms. Communities need abortion clinics, and the compassionate, judgment-free care patients count on wouldn’t exist without our clinic staff.
These past two years have been especially tough. Abortion providers have faced a global pandemic, lawmakers passing and enacting record-breaking bans and restrictions (including Texas Senate Bill 8), and increased violence and vitriol. No other medical profession deals with this level of harassment just for providing essential medical care. Nevertheless, they continue to show up, protecting our reproductive freedoms and providing life-changing care even in the face of hostility. Simply put, WWH and WWHA clinic staff are heroes.
