Whole Woman’s Health of New Mexico is proud to provide high-quality reproductive health services, including safe and confidential abortion care. We’re located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and easily accessible via Metro, bus, car, and only ten minutes from the Albuquerque International Sunport. Whether you need a pap test, HPV vaccine, or an abortion, our expert staff will give you personalized, judgment-free care in our relaxing environment.

Whole Woman’s Health of New Mexico offers comprehensive reproductive healthcare services:

  • In-clinic first and second-trimester abortion procedures to 20 weeks since last menstrual period (LMP)
  • Medication abortion care to 11 weeks LMP (in-person and via telemedicine/by mail)
  • Annual exams and pap tests

We pride ourselves on our private, individualized approach. Your family or loved ones are welcome to be a part of your experience here, it’s up to you. We also offer private abortion care, VIP (you are the only patient) abortion care and fast-track appointments for our patients with special circumstances. Please contact us for these or other special accommodations. We accept NM Medicaid.

DIRECTIONS TO OFFICE:

  • We are a square-shaped building with blue awnings and surrounded by ample private parking spaces on both sides of the building. We are right on Lomas Blvd.
  • Next to us is a Pizza Hut right at the corner of 7th and Lomas.
  • On the other side of us (8th and Lomas) is an empty building that used to be a Latin restaurant called Pasion Latin Fusion (sign still there)
  • Across from us (Lomas Blvd is a two-way street with a medium) is APN Family Support center, and diagonally is a bus stop across from Pizza hut.
  • Anyone coming from Texas and Oklahoma will enter Albuquerque through I-40 West.
  • People coming from Arizona will take I-40 East.

ESTIMATING FEES

We are contracted with most Medicaid. Please call us to talk about using insurance, or financial assistance options. Our in-clinic abortion prices include everything you need as a part of your visit:
  • Your ultrasound
  • All necessary lab tests
  • A private counseling education and information session
  • Local anesthesia
  • The abortion, whether by pill or procedure
  • Moderate sedation and pain management medications
  • Post-procedure aftercare, with a light snack and relaxing tea

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please make sure to bring a photo ID and anyone accompanying you will also need a photo ID.
  • Out of consideration of all our patients we ask that you not bring any children into the clinic.
  • For abortion procedures in the first trimester (up to 12 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period) you can expect your appointment to be between 2-4 hours.
  • For abortion procedures in the second trimester (over 12 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period) you can expect your appointment to be between 3-6 hours.
  • If you choose to take sedation medication, please make sure to bring an adult to drive you home safely.

FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS

Whole Woman’s Health collaborates with many local and national funding organizations to help raise money for your abortion. Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.
